According to The Telegraph, Cristiano Ronaldo is such a fan of his own wax sculpture that is housed in Madrid’s Museum of Wax that the soccer star commissioned one to be made for his own Spanish mansion for the low, low price of £20,000 (about $30,700).
Michael Wade, the artist who made the original wax model, used the same mold that he utilized to make Ronaldo’s Museum of Wax sculpture. The only things that were changed for Ronaldo’s personal wax figure were the athlete’s kit and shoes.
And, given that he regularly sends his own hair stylist to check on his Madrid wax sculpture’s hair, it’s not that surprising to learn that Ronaldo sent his hairdresser to oversee the model’s design.
“We left the hair alone, because that’s exactly how he wanted it. We put all the hair in, one at a time and then, in Madrid, his hairdresser came along to cut it.” Wade added.
