Lil Wayne has made it clear that he’s a Green Bay Packers fan but most people assumed that he, like thousands of other sports fan, jumped on the bandwagon for no reason other than it’s fun to follow a winning team. However, the New Orleans native has a pretty legitimate and awesome reason why he’s a Cheesehead.
He joined ESPN’s First Take on Monday morning and told a story of his father attending the Packers-Patriots Super Bowl XXXI in New Orleans in January 1997:
