Rory McIlroy had a frustrating moment this week on the eighth hole of his second round at the WGC-Cadillac Championship, but the damage has finally been mitigated.
Having birdied the previous hole, McIlroy had a mental-lapse and hit an errant shot. Obviously a little frustrated, Rory then launched his golf club into the water and left it for dead.
Well, the 3-iron was rescued a day later by an unnamed scuba diver who took it upon himself to recover the discarded club. He was successful and thankfully it was all caught on video.
