The Miami Heat are barely clinging to the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference, and one of…err, two of…the reasons for their 21-28 record is fact Mario Chalmers and Norris Cole are their point guards. In the final minute of Wednesday’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves, Cole wanted to receive an inbounds pass from Hassan Whiteside. Unfortunately, both of Cole’s feet were out of bounds on the initial hand-off, leading to a brief game of hot potato and some finger pointing between as the referee whistled a violation. The Heat lost the ball, and while they had chances to win the game, they ultimately lost, 102-101.
