Just in case you were living in a cave, it is highly unlikely that you can easily afford a trip to Arizona to watch Super Bowl XLIX.
Aside from the less than one percent of Americans that can actually load $10k on their credit card without sweating, the Super Bowl is an extraordinarily expensive event for fans.
Not even including flights, gas, hotel, food or excessive (responsibly excessive) amounts of alcohol, attending next Sunday’s Patriots-Seahawks tilt costs a fortune. The high prices are far from a surprise considering recent history but the cost to attend a single football game is mind-boggling.

And those are for crappy upper deck corner seats, ones so far away that you won’t be able to even see sideline reporters scrambling to keep an eye on potential NFL officials checking the PSI of Tom Brady’s balls.
