adidas is rolling out its brand-new NBA Swingman jerseys and as a part of their advertising campaign, the brand is showcasing these ads where an NBA star is given a body double “swingman” to help the athlete cope with their incredibly busy schedule.
The spot starts off amusingly enough but the video doesn’t really pick up until the moment where Wiggins and his swingman “meet” for the first time.
Genius.
For those like the body double who “missed the biggest sports story of the summer,” the Cavs used the number one overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft on Andrew Wiggins only to trade him a couple of months later for Kevin Love after the Cavs were able to land LeBron James. It’s nice to see Wiggins having some fun with his highly unusual first moments as a rookie in the NBA.
