Madison Bumgarner blanked the Pirates during Wednesday’s N.L. Wild Card play-in game in Pittsburgh, striking out 10 batters while allowing just four hits in the complete game effort. He celebrated by heading to the locker room and immediately pounding four beers at once like a complete savage.
That seems a bit excessive, but I guess when you toss a shutout in a win-or-go-home playoff game you can pretty much do whatever you want. Stone Cold Steve Austin, you’ve officially been put on notice.
