Perhaps because the “KD is not Nice” ad campaign was blown to pieces with Kevin Durant’s MVP speech (where KD was very, very nice), Nike is launching a new ad campaign to convince people that Kevin Durant is a badass.
Erhm, I mean “The Baddest.”
Set to air during the NBA Draft, this ad features guest appearances from a whole slew of people, including George Gervin, Chris Mullin and civil rights activist/comedian Dick Gregory.
If this one doesn’t catch on, maybe Nike could start a new ad campaign around “KD is a very nice person and very nice ballplayer.”
