We had our doubts that Phil Jackson would want to be involved with the New York Knicks, but it appears that were way off is a league source is correct. According to ESPN, “Phil Jackson and the New York Knicks are expected to finalize a deal that will give the legendary coach control of the club’s front office by the end of this week.” If the deal does happen Jackson will take over Knicks’ basketball operations which is currently handled by president and general manager Steve Mills.
