Things have gotten so bad in Laker Land that ESPN has flexed out of yet another game for the Purple & Gold, marking the third time it’s happened this season. In January, the Worldwide Leader ditched a Lakers-Rockets game in favor of Suns-Timberwolves, then dropped a Lakers-Bulls tilt in favor of Trailblazers-Rockets. The Rockets and Suns are the beneficiaries of the latest switch, as the Lakers’ February 23rd matchup against the Brooklyn Nets has been mercifully bumped in favor of two Western Conference playoff teams (if the playoffs started today) with winning records.
