Chicago Blackhawks’ Andrew Shaw took a puck directly to the face during the first period of Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Finals. Shaw immediately hit the ice and was extremely slow to get up, though he did skate off under his own power. Shaw was not wearing a visor.
Not surprisingly, Shaw headed to the locker room and received a large amount of stitches and was back on the ice in the second period.
