I’m old enough to have seen every single “Star Wars” film in the theater during their respective original releases. The original (or “Holy”) trilogy is, of course, the bar by which all others are measured and the newer one is pretty bad, though it has its moments.
Being old enough to have seen them also leaves me in the position of having younger friends who have never seen any of them. Ever. It’s pretty sad, really. I get it, though. Fourteen hours of film is a lot to sit through.
Now you can crush it in about 2:20 thanks to the nice person who put them all on one screen at the exact same time. From the moment the opening fanfare starts to degenerate it’s pretty funny.
