via ESPN/ Bleacher ReportMarcus Lattimore who is the star running back at South Carolina, was injured during the second quarter of their match-up against Tennesee. A defender’s helmet took out Lattimore’s right knee and it bent back terribly. The video is hard to watch and we will update you when we have a final diagnosis. The GiF of the injury is at the bottom of this page, so please don’t scroll down if you have a weak stomach.
Both teams came out to the middle of the field to show their support for the fallen South Carolina player, which I have not seen happen in too many games. Lattimore is by far the emotional leader on and off the field for the gamecocks. The injury is especially awful given all the hard work Lattimore put in last year to recover from ACL surgery and make it back on the field.
