Tardiness has been one of Yasiel Puig’s biggest drawbacks, but he appears to be taking drastic measures to fix the issue.
Since traffic in Los Angeles is miserable and there’s never a guarantee he’ll make it to Dodger Stadium on time, Puig is just going to fly there instead. Yes, he’s planning on buying a damn helicopter.
Alex Vega, a personal vehicle customizer and friend of Puig’s, told TMZ this week that the Dodgers outfielder’s Instagram posts of himself in a helicopter (below) aren’t just for fun, and he’s actually in the market for one.
“You’ve seen him posting all around. It ain’t just for fun,” Vega said. “He’s buying one.”
If I were Puig, I’d still show up fashionably late. What’s cooler than showing up fashionably late in a helicopter? Nothing.
