
The Ryan Mallett saga continued in Week 7 after the embattled Texans quarterback missed the team flight to Dolphins and was cut on Monday. Based upon his on and off-the-field failures after arriving from New England in 2014, it’s highly unlikely that another team will peg him as a legitimate option at quarterback and it’s a fair question to wonder if he’ll ever be a No. 1 quarterback in the NFL again.
For those reasons and many others, Mallett has become an easy target for criticism and jokes, including an amusing Wikipedia page edit:
