The Kansas State band appeared to go a tad overboard in trolling their in-state rival on Saturday. During halftime of their victory over South Dakota, the school’s band created a formation that clearly featured a penis going into the mouth of a Jayhawk.
The band issued an “apology” via their Twitter account but described the penis as the starship enterprise…nice try. If you’re shoving male genitalia into your rival mascot’s mouth, at least admit to it instead of using a weak cover-up excuse.
It’s unclear if the band’s director ordered the formation or if the members went rogue. Regardless, you can bet the school will receive heavy penalties and likely suspend their band.
Tell me this isn't a Jayhawk and "something" going into its mouth. You can't convince me otherwise. pic.twitter.com/xajPEJoK1V

We apologize for anyone offended by our halftime performance depicting the starship enterprise and the Jayhawk mascot.
