As a resident of the Bay Area, I can tell you that rent applications tend to get a little crazy around here. Combine that with the area’s love of dogs and stories like this are not unusual.
Still, when you’re a pitcher for the Oakland A’s, I’d assume that you’d get the benefit of the doubt when it comes to your application process.
Sean Doolittle found out the hard way that there are no shortcuts when it comes to renting in the Bay. One landlord asked Sean and his girlfriend, Eireann Dolan, to fill out a resume for their dog Stella.
So, Dolan put together a fantastic resume for Stella Dolan Doolittle – a very good girl.

Highlights include “Education: DePaws University: Grades K-9” (because who wouldn’t want to attend DePaws University? No one, that’s who) and Stella’s skills which are “lying about myself on resumes” and “standing on top of another dog while we both wear a trenchcoat and try to obtain a bank loan.”
Don’t know about you, but Stella seems fairly qualified to rent an apartment in the Bay Area.
