Although most fans are wildly entertained by brawls, they can often result in alarming situations, especially for the youngsters that are legitimately scared for their life. During a Spanish League game between Saski Baskonia and Bilboa Basket last week, Tornike Shengelia fouled Dejan Todorovi on a dunk attempt. It was followed up by a couple shoves and eventually an all-out brawl.
After the fight, one that lasted for nearly a minute, Shengelia went back to the area of the incident and attempted to comfort a child that was clearly shaken by the ordeal. It is unclear if he knew the child or maybe the child’s father, who appeared to nod after Shengelia spoke with him.
