The Arizona Cardinals quarterback situation went from troubling to very troubling during Thursday’s offensive juggernaut in St. Louis. The team with the league’s best record lost starter Carson Palmer to a torn ACL last month and just lost backup Drew Stanton to a sprained knee for an unknown amount of time. Although Stanton may very well return for their Week 16 game against Seattle, Cardinals defensive tackle Darnell Dockett is already on the recruiting trail.
The outspoken Dockett hopped on Twitter shortly after Stanton was injured to lure former Arizona QB Kurt Warner back instead of allowing third-stringer Ryan Lindley to take control.
@ddockett Your killing me… If I thought I could, I would!!!!

It does not appear the Dockett will get his wish but one other retired signal-caller is ready if Bruce Arians is interested:
Hey @AZCardinals I can be ready to leave in the morning. Fair warning it may take a week or 2 to get back to playing weight. #justplaying
