Following a few days of uncomfortable rumblings around the college football world, UAB officially announced that it would be shutting down their football program this week. The decision is far from ideal, especially for the dozens of student-athletes that will be dramatically affected in the coming weeks, months and even years. It appears that the school is moving very quickly with their decision and this eerie photo of their end zone logo being removed from Legion Field says it all:
