The Patriots are absolutely giving it to the Bears in Foxboro today, and things have pretty much gotten out of hand early. Things escalated pretty quickly when the Patriots managed to score three touchdowns in 57 seconds inside the final two minutes of the first half.
The first was a toss to Rob Gronkowski, his second TD of the day:
Then, after a three-and-out by the Bears offense, a great Julian Edelman punt return set up this touchdown pass to Brandon LaFell:
On the ensuing possession, Jay Cutler turned the ball over (again) with yet another fumble. Linebacker Rob Ninkovich recovered and brought it to the house.
And that, my friends, is how you score three times in 57 seconds. Patriots lead 38-7 at halftime.
