I’ve never been to a battle rap performance so I’m not sure if this happens frequently or not. Over the weekend in Phoenix, battle rapper Daylyt made things weird for everyone. First, he shows up to battle Real Deal wearing an all black cloak that covered his head. Then he removed the cloak to reveal a decapitated head which went along with one of his lines. As great as Daylyt thought this would be, the crowd wasn’t really feeling it.
After a while, the audience began booing the rapper, who responded by saying “If I hear two more boos, I’ma boo-boo on stage!” Well, he heard two more boos. Daylyt pulled down his pants and attempted to bake a hot icicle onstage. Classic Daylyt! The rapper was quickly escorted out of the building and off the premises because boo-booing onstage at a rap battle is a big no-no.
