As Yankees captain Derek Jeter wraps up a 6-month lovefest tour across the country, we are and will continue to be bombarded with smooth, emotional, symbolic and creative campaigns from any and all associated partners of his, the Yankees or the MLB.
Gatorade is no exception as they released a commercial featuring Jeter strolling around New York to the sweet tune of Frank Sinatra. Is it over-the-top cheesy? Of course, and while it remains a nice tribute, For the Win said it perfectly: It may be the most New York thing ever.
