Fernando Rodney appears to really enjoy doing his signature arrow celebration but he should probably be a little more careful about when he busts out the move. Rodney got a little too cocky and gestured an arrow shot towards the Angels dugout after preserving a one-run lead for the Mariners in the eighth inning of yesterday’s game.

Unfortunately for Rodney, he still had to pitch the ninth…and that’s when things didn’t go so well for him.

Albert Pujols managed to knock in Mike Trout with a big double in the 9th, tying the series finale at 5-5. Following the big game-tying hit, both Pujols and Trout mocked Rodney’s celebration and sent his arrows flying right back at him. Grant Green hit a walk-off single to give the Angels a 6-5 win a few batters later. Woops.

Check out the video below to see it all unfold. It’s pretty great but – speaking as a Red Sox fan – give me Jonny Gomes emptying the quiver all day.
