Usually when you think of a controversy surrounding the Atlanta Braves’ American pride, its their depiction of Native Americans that comes to mind. However, they managed to put that on the back burner when they LIT AN AMERICAN FLAG ON FIRE LAST NIGHT.
It happened as a result of a fireworks mishap during last night’s game against the Mets when the fireworks debris caught the American flag located on top of the scoreboard in centerfield and sparked a Stars & Stripes fire.
As a true and proud American, I know who I’m not rooting for in the NL East this season.
