ESPN rolled out a timely ‘This Is SportsCenter’ ad shortly after the Seattle Seahawks throttled the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl XLVIII on Sunday night. In the ad, the Broncos mascot, Miles, has to honor his big game bet and don Russell Wilson’s jersey all week.
Obviously, ESPN had to make two versions of this commercial – you know, in case the Broncos actually showed up to play – for each outcome. My bet is that the Seahulk would have had to wear a Peyton jersey if Denver had won.
