The 2013 European Veterans Athletics Championships is something that exists, apparently, and somehow it flew under the radar when it got underway in San Sebastian, Spain last spring.
Fortunately, cameras were there to capture all the riveting action – including this epic 60-meter dash between two 90-year old sprinters. This is about as good of a race between two men nearing the century mark as you could ever ask for.
It’s like the SparkNotes version of ‘Grudge Match’ and I love every second of it.
