Milwaukee Brewers reliever John Axford had a insatiable craving for some Krispy Kreme donuts this past weekend and took to Twitter to help score some. Axford sent out the following tweet on Saturday afternoon asking if anyone at the Wisconsin state fair would be willing to trade donuts for Brewers tickets:
Who is at the WI State Fair & would like to exchange a dozen Krispy Kreme Burgers for a dozen game tickets? (plus the cost of the burgers)

A woman named Kathy was all for the exchange. The two hashed out the details via Twitter.
@KathyDarrow will you now? How do you feel about an exchange? And where can we do this exchange? Getting a feel if this will work!

@KathyDarrow Bacon. Always bacon. Especially chocolate covered bacon.

Then, about three hours later, the good were exchanged.
Hurray! Thank you so much @KathyDarrow for taking the time to get these for us. A little taste of the @wistatefair. pic.twitter.com/UfrsP2i6nI

The next day, Kathy enjoyed a day at the ballpark.
Great day for a ball game at Miller Park

When John Axford is hunting donuts on Twitter, everybody wins.
