It is well known that Max Pacioretty and Zdeno Chara have a history of not getting along, but tonight the rivalry took a turn for the worse. The hit will be debated as to whether or not it was illegal, you can judge for yourself. Following the hit, Max Pacioretty was taken off the ice on a stretcher and was motionless on the way out. Chara was given a 5min misconduct and ejected from the game for the hit. Last we heard was that Pacioretty is moving all extremities, conscious and talking in hospital. Our best wishes go out to Max.
