Phil Mickelson’s near-misses continue at Royal Troon.
The first-round leader at the British Open made a heap of remarkable shots during his record-tying round of 63 on Thursday but his opening round was mostly known for missing a putt that would’ve given him the first 62 in major history.
On Friday, he narrowly missed again, but this time it was for an ace on the Postage Stamp hole (No. 8):
