Former United States President Donald Trump is currently facing a very expensive legal situation as he was hit with a $464 million judgment after he was found to have fraudulently inflated the value of his assets and properties, including his prestigious golf courses. And it sounds like one of those golf courses had to pay out a hefty settlement as a result of a scandal.
Alice Bianco, a former waitress at Trump National Golf Club Bedminster, brought a lawsuit against the golf course claiming that she was tricked into accepting hush money after she was sexually harassed. And according to a report from The Daily Beast, the golf course has now paid out a pretty hefty settlement.
“EXCLUSIVE: Donald Trump’s golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey, paid $82,500 last week to settle a lawsuit alleging that it had silenced a sexually harassed waitress by tricking her into an unfair hush money deal, according to the ex-employee’s lawyer,” The Daily Beast said in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.
Obviously, that is a much smaller sum than the $464 million that Trump must come up with after the fraud trial, but it’s pretty bad news for the former president that his golf courses are continually linked to expensive lawsuits.
