Tobie Hatfield: Athlete Insights from UO Sports Product Management on Vimeo.
Even if you are not a sports fan, you probably have a memory of Michael Johnson competing in the 1996 Atlanta Summer Olympics with his famous gold shoes. Johnson wore the shoes for the 100m dash, which he won, and now we finally have the full story of how the shoes came to be. Designer Tobie Hatfield recently spoke at the University of Oregon on everything about the shoes from concept to how they ended up on Michael Johnson’s feet.
It is well worth tuning into the five minute talk.
