The International Olympic Committee (IOC) announced today that it has narrowed down their list of possible host cities for the 2020 Olympics down to just three: Tokyo, Madrid, and Istanbul. With the field narrowed down to three, those cities now advance to the final phase of the selection process which is a seventeen month contest (of sorts) that will end with the final IOC vote on Sept. 7, 2013, in Buenos Aires.
