According to the original thread on Reddit, high school English teachers at McKinley High School (location unknown) found this letter taped to their classroom doors this week. One awesome teacher graded it like an actual assignment, and encouraged the anonymous author to take five minutes and proofread to keep from “looking stupid”. Well played.
However, as somebody who writes for a living (or, tries to), I can’t get over the fact that, amid all the errors, the author used the proper forms of “your”, you’re” and “it’s” — even though he/she capitalized the “I”. Maybe there’s hope for this kid, yet.
