The Iron Stomach is an annual back-to-school event at University College Dublin, in which freshmen sit on a stage and consume a six-course, uhhhh, “meal”, consisting of one disgusting food combination after another. There’s no doubt such a ritual would lead to multiple lawsuits if it took place on a college campus in America, especially if the entire thing was caught on film. And — especially — if what was a caught on film was what happened to the poor guy in the pink shirt, who made the unfortunate mistake of taking a wrong step directly into the catch-all trough containing various regurgitated things consumed on this year’s menu.
