Thomas Müller gave Germany a lead over the United States in the 54th minute of their final group stage match on Thursday, blasting a rebound past Tim Howard after a great set up on a corner kick.
The German lead seriously hinders the Americans’ chances of winning the group but they’re still in good shape to advance if they hold.
