After a match in the Brazilian Paulista A3 (Sao Paulo’s third division regional championship) Independente’s Johnny Dos Santos took personal offense to the referee’s decision to only add four minutes additional time and decided to show his displeasure by karate kicking the referee in the face.
In the video you can see when the final whistle blows, Dos Santos runs up to the referee and drop kick him then walk away like nothing happened. Dos Santos was escorted out of the stadium by police.
The Brazilian FA have yet to announce a punishment for Dos Santos, but we imagine it will be very severe.
