Just a few months ago, former rock star Kid Rock went viral when he posted a video where he shot and destroyed several cases of Bud Light on his property after the company went viral for its partnership with transgender social media influencer Dylan Mulvaney. But it does not appear that his outrage at the popular tailgate beer lasted very long.
As reported by TMZ, Kid Rock was seen and photographed attending a Colt Ford concert this week. And while at the concert, he was seen holding and sipping on a can of Bud Light.
“The former rocker seemed pretty relaxed as he clutched the blue can, taking sips while chatting and laughing with some friends. Unclear if there were other beer options available, but Kid Rock’s choice seems pretty shocking considering how hard he went in on the brand earlier this year,” TMZ wrote this weekend.
There’s a chance that Kid Rock may have had a change of heart about the beer brand, but what’s more likely is that he was simply pandering to his audience and never had any strong feelings toward the beer brand in the first place.
Either way, it was an interesting turn of events.
