President-elect Donald Trump is gearing up to return to the Oval Office after winning the November Presidential election. While on the campaign trail, Trump received help from tech billionaire Elon Musk.
Trump has since appointed Musk to help with his administration as an efficiency expert. Some people believe that Musk is pulling the strings behind the scenes and angling to take over Trump’s presidency.
Now, Trump is sending a message not just to Musk but to the rest of the nation about how things will go.
“[Elon Musk] is not going to be president. That I can tell you. I’m safe. You know why? He can’t be. He wasn’t born in this country,” Trump said in an address that is making the rounds on social media.

People reacted to the clip on social media.
“This is great for two reasons: (1) it shows that all this President Musk talk is getting under Donald’s notoriously thin skin; and (2) it has to be very insulting to JD Vance,” one person wrote on Twitter.
“It’s working and it’s getting under his skin. He truly hates when people say Elon is calling the shots,” one fan added.
“The initial cracks are starting to form. Trump’s ego cannot and will not allow him to be perceived as a second fiddle. The Trump-Musk experiment will end badly,” another person added.
It’ll be interesting to see if this is the beginning of the end of the pair’s collaboration.
