Donald Trump Mugshot Donald Trump Mugshot

On Thursday night, former United States President Donald Trump made headlines and went viral on social media for all the wrong reasons when he made history, becoming the first former president in history to have a mugshot taken.

Donald Trump was booked in the Fulton County jail in Atlanta, Georgia, on Thursday evening on felony charges related to his efforts to overturn the 2020 election. As a result, he had to take a mugshot.

Trump chose not to smile in his mugshot, which according to CNN, was an intentional decision as he wanted to look “defiant.”

Shortly after Trump was released from jail on bond, the Fulton County Sheriff’s office released Trump’s mugshot to the public, and it quickly went viral among sports reporters and sports media personalities on social media as they made jokes at the former president’s expense.

This marks Trump’s fourth indictment this year, but it’s the first time he’s had his mugshot taken following his indictment.

In addition to Trump, Fulton County authorities took mugshots of all 19 people charged in the case. This also includes Trump’s lawyers, former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani, former federal prosecutor Sidney Powell, and his former chief of staff Mark Meadows.

The former president was released on a $200,000 bond on Thursday night,
