The Capitals and Flyers are facing off in the early installment of Hockey Day in America on Sunday, and Zac Rinaldo isn’t exactly having a great day at the office. The Flyers tough guy got tangled up with Jason Chimera almost midway through the second period in Philly and ended up taking a nasty uppercut straight to the mouth courtesy of Chimera.
The blow knocked Rinaldo’s legs out from under him and sent him to the locker room (briefly) with a bloodied mouth. He returned shortly after receiving some repairs and did not look very happy.
