Legendary NHL broadcaster Doc Emrick is one of my favorite announcers in any sport, and the below image just adds to his coolness. The man’s voice somehow never tires, even after going a mile a minute during triple overtime games. During Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals, Doc had to bob and weave through three overtimes and be creative so he didn’t use the same words every few seconds. The result is a fantastic list of the different phrases he used to replace “pass it.”
A shout out also for the wonderful work by a redditor to write down each of the phrases.
