The Edmonton Oilers blew a lead late in the third period of Wednesday’s game against the Winnipeg Jets, then surrendered the game-winning goal to the Jets 17 seconds into overtime, pushing the Oilers’ losing streak to eleven straight games. Cameras caught Edmonton’s general manager, Craig MacTavish, looking completely numb in his executive box following the loss.
Mouth agape, horrified eyes staring at replays of the game winner without blinking…That’s So Oilers™.
