Washington Capitals’ winger Tom Wilson is not afraid of a stinking puck. In fact, on Sunday he put his entire body (and head) in the path of a slapshot in an attempt to block a shot and the result was not pretty.
Tom ended up blocking the shot with his head and not surprisingly it hurt.
Wilson went through concussion protocol, Trotz said, but hasn't gotten the results back yet. Will be reevaluated tomorrow.
