The Winnipeg Jets opened the 2014-15 season with an odd victory over the Phoenix Coyotes. While the Jets prevailed by a dominating score of 6-2, the game was significantly closer, as Phoenix had more shots, hits, takeaways and faceoff victories. But the Jets have Blake Wheeler and the veteran winger put together a nifty little 15 seconds in the 1st period, scoring twice in only 15 seconds.
No one is really impressed with anything that Blake Wheeler does in the NHL because it will never compare to this insane goal from his days with the Golden Gophers:
