Earlier this week, Miami Dolphins superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill was hit with some pretty horrible allegations as social media influencer Sophie Hall claimed that Hill broke her leg when he got angry while the two were performing football drills at his house. But Hill and his attorneys are calling those accusations “baseless.”
The lawsuit claims that Tyreek Hill broke Hall’s leg when he got angry at her for holding her own against him while doing football drills in his yard. In a statement to ESPN, Hill acknowledged that the two were performing drills in his yard, but said that they were playful in nature and claimed Hill actually injured her leg by tripping on a dog, not because he pushed her.
The statement from Hill and his attorneys also claimed that the allegations were to “generate bad publicity for Mr. Hill in an attempt to ‘scare tactic’ him into personally covering the cost of Ms. Hall’s medical bills.”
Hill and his attorneys said that there is a pending claim with his homeowners’ insurance company and he has the intention of “fully covering” Hall’s medical bills with the claim.
The lawsuit is seeking between $50,000 and $75,000 in damages, but Hill is prepared to defend himself in court if necessary.
