Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce have now been dating for over a year, but with Kelce struggling on the field recently, it sounds like there is now a bit of a strain on their relationship, spelling what could be pretty horrible news for Taylor Swift.
According to a report from Radar Online, the relationship between Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift is now at a “breaking point” as a result of Kelce’s struggles on the field, some of which has been blamed on his relationship with Swift. Todd McShay attributed his slow start to being out of shape from partying and ” jet-setting around with the most famous person, probably in the entire world”. Fox News took a similar position, while Whoopi Goldberg on The View, scolded fans and said “Stop putting this on her. Your team is fine, your team is doing well. Shut up!”.
According to the report, Kelce has placed his relationship with the pop star on the “back burner” amid his struggles on the field.
“No one could blame him for being stressed out by the slump — he really just wants to make sure he’s contributing,” a source told Radar Online.
Needless to say, this is pretty horrible news for Taylor Swift – especially considering that they won’t have as much time to spend together as she prepares to return to her Eras Tour later this month.
As a result, the news drew a lot of reactions on social media.
“I think everyone just needs to leave them alone. Relationships are hard enough without someone being in their business and in their face 24/7/365,” one fan wrote in the comments of the story.
