The 2024 NFL Draft is officially two weeks away from the Chicago Bears being on the clock with the No.1 pick. And in anticipation of the first round, a number of top quarterbacks have made their decision on whether or not to attend the draft in person.
Quarterbacks in past NFL Drafts have famously experienced plummeting down the draft board. To name a few, the likes of Johnny Manziel, Brady Quinn, and Aaron Rodgers all attended the draft in person and fell quite far outside of the top 10, having to unexpectedly wait to hear their names called.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, three of the top quarterbacks including Jayden Daniels, Drake Maye, and Caleb Williams will all be attending in person for the first round of the event.
Caleb Williams is almost a certainty to go to the Chicago Bears with the No. 1 pick. And both Daniels and Maye have been projected to go at No. 2 to the Washington Commanders.
But we’ve seen highly projected quarterbacks fall much further than expected before. So it will sure be interesting to see if any of these names perhaps fall down draft boards unexpectedly this year.
Some of the other top projected players that will be attending the draft consist of Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. LSU wide receiver Malik Nabers, Washington wide receiver Rome Odunze Alabama edge rusher Dallas Turner among others.
