Tom Brady new rugged look only lasted one week into the NFL season, as the Patriots quarterback decided to shave his beard following New England’s season-opening loss to the Dolphins on Sunday. Clearly Brady placed a certain amount of blame in the facial hair for not allowing his offense to get going in the second half of the Pats’ 33-20 loss in Miami and decided to do away with it.

As a Patriots fan myself, I was just starting to get used to bearded Brady but I certainly have no problem with him wanting to shave away that Week 1 performance. I predict clean shaven Brady will toss for over 700 yards and eight touchdowns next weekend. The rest of the NFL should be very scared.
