NFL legend Tom Brady is set to begin his career as a broadcaster with Fox this season, but there could be a bit of a conflict of interest when it comes to certain games given that Brady is in the process of trying to purchase a portion of the Las Vegas Raiders franchise. But despite that, it doesn’t sound like he’ll be limited in which games he’ll be able to call.
During a conference call with reporters this week, NFL Executive Vice President of Media Distribution Hans Schroeder made it clear that since Tom Brady is not officially an owner of the Las Vegas Raiders, the league has decided to allow him to call any game with no limitations.
“Right now, Tom’s not an owner of the Raiders, and as we go into this year, Tom’s able to call any game on the schedule,” Schroeder announced during the conference all, according to Pro Football Talk.
Obviously, this indicates that if Brady does eventually become an owner, there might be more limitations on which games he is allowed to call. But for now, it sounds like Brady will be able to call whichever games he is assigned by Fox, including Raiders games.
